Introduced as a series by E. P. Dutton & Co. in about 1880.
The volumes are American first editions. All the titles were published
first in England by Griffith and Farran.
The series books note the library name on the cover.
An 1885 format with an applique on the format cover has been noted but it does not mention the series name and probably is not part of this series.
Two formats noted without priority
1. Paper Boards. Chromolithographed cover picture. Several different
covers have been noted. 4" x 6".
2. Cloth. Various colors. Non book specific cover appliqué.
