Published in 1854-1855 by Sawyer, Ingersoll & Co. It is not known whether the Hudson Book Company also published this series. These titles had previously been published by other firms including Elton & Co. as well as John McLoughlin.
A relationship between this firm and the Cleveland outfit of Knight, King & Co. is unknown, but the books of this series have been seen with Sawyer, Ingersoll & Co. title pages and Knight, King & Co. covers. Thus Knight, King published this series shorty after Sawyer, Ingersoll. See below.
