These books were first published by Allen and Ticknor in 1833.
William D. Ticknor published “Peter Parley's Short Stories for Long
Nights” in 1834 which included all eight stories from above. After
1843 William D. Ticknor & Co. printed the books. Ticknor, Reed
& Fields printed them after William D. Ticknor & Co.
Illustrated with a colored frontispiece.
Heavy illustrated paper cover. 5.25” x 4.25”.
I have not seen any of these titles published by William D. Ticknor or Ticknor, Reed and Fields. Below is Freshet published by Allen & Ticknor, the predecessor to William D. Ticknor.
Most likely the format is the same, but it is not certain.
