This Library is a combination of the "Little Ellen Series" and the "Pleasure and Profit Series". The "Ruby Library" was introduced by D. Lothrop & Co. in 1876. The "Pleasure and Profit Series" and "Little Ellen Series" were first published by D. Lothrop & Co. in late 1878.
This Ruby Library should not be confused with the later 5 volume Ruby Library which has different titles.
