This series was published by Anson D. F. Randolph & Co. beginning
in 1878. The books in this set are all first editions (except for #4
-Copyright 1877 by Roberts Brothers)
Books were added over several years. Book#1 was the first book in the
series with #2 and #3 following in short order in 1878. Volumes #6, 7
and 8 were added in 1880
Cloth. Various colors. Blindstamped with gilt cover picture of a lit
candle. Embossed series name is on the cover.
Spine letter box and lettering. 6.75" x 5".
