Books #1-3, #5 were published by Hurd & Houghton in 1864. #4 was published by Hurd & Houghton in 1865. By 1866 eight books were combined into a noted series ("Standard Juvenile Books"). The titles are all reprints.
In 1868 only titles #1-5 comprised this series. The Cooper books were in the "Cooper Stories" series.
This series should not be confused with "Riverside Juveniles".

Format.
Cloth. Various colors seen. Black and gold lettering and decoration on
the cover and spine. The spine notes "Riverside Standard Juvenile" in
gilt lettering at the base. 12 mo. (Two different patterns have
been seen)
