Introduced as a series by Hurd & Houghton in 1864. This series with these three titles was originally published in the exact same format by Sheldon and Company in 1860.

These books were also called "Illuminated Toy Books" in Hurd & Houghton advertisements.
The three titles were combined into one volume called "Treasury of Scripture Stories". This book had previously been published by Sheldon and Company.

Illustrated with four full page oil pictures.

Wraps. Cover illustration of man on a mountain with what appears to be the Ten Commandments' tablet. Sixteen pages including the covers. 5.25" x 7.25".
