This series was published by Nichols & Hall in 1868 with subsequent reprints.
The six titles listed above were part of the 12 volume Hofland Library published previously by Chase & Nichols (1862-1864) as well as Samuel F. Nichols (1865-1868). The titles are all reprints. When Nichols & Hall published these twelve volumes in 1868 (and later) as the successor to Samuel F. Nichols, they were divided into two series: Household Stories for Girls and Select Stories.
