This library was introduced by Merriam, Moore & Co. in the 1850's. Subsequently it was reprinted by Moore & Nims and H. B. Nims & Co.

Several books from this series have been seen with gold metallic clasp decoration on the front and the back cover. The contents of these editions which were published by Merriam, Moore & Co. is the same as is found in the Tiny Library but these books do not note "Tiny Library" anywhere.

Three formats have been noted.

Format 1
Cloth. Various colors. Cover has a gilt decoration, star and series title. Gilt title and decoration on the spine. 2.25" x 1.5"

This firm published this library in two formats. Neither has been seen.
One format is advertised as having a gold clasp.
