N. Tibbals & Sons published this series of reprints in 1878.

The first editions of these books were published by Charles Scribner and reprinted by W. H. Appleton. George A. Leavitt and Leavitt & Allen Bros. printed later editions beginning in the late 1860's and 1870's. The World Publishing House printed this series in 1876.

These three books were combined with the Tip-Top Story Books for Girls to form the "Tip-Top Story Books for Boys and Girls". The latter series was actually just the two series combined in one boxed set of six volumes.

The formats are the same as those in the Tip-Top Books for Girls.
