Davis, Porter & Co. was succeeded by Davis, Porter & Coates
in 1866. Davis, Porter & Coates was succeeded by Porter &
Coates in 1867. At this point in time the "Toy Books" of these three
companies that I have seen have the same covers and contents with the
exception of the imprint name on the front cover. Below are pictures of
books from this series published by Davis, Porter & Co.
