seen in 1870, 1871 and 1877. J. W. Burke & Co. Macon, Georgia was a
co-publisher of these titles.
Format 1870-1871 Editions:
Cloth. Various colors. Blindstamped with embossed pattern. Initials
embossed on the cover. Gilt lettering and decoration on the spine.
6.75" x 4.5".
In 1877 and 1880 CRH published a one volume edition, "The Woodruff
Stories" that included all three titles.
Cloth. Red. Black line drawn decoration on the cover. Gilt
illustration and lettering own the spine. 12 mo.
E. C. Claxton & Co. also published this series. Those books have
not been seen.
