This series was released in the fall of 1864. Each book contains
several short stories with illustrations. The pages in each book of the
series are numbered continuously as if they may have been part of a
larger book at one time.
Wraps. 8 pages not including the covers. 4.5" x 2.75".
Illuminated covers as well as plain black and white covers have been
seen. Based on Dawley printing patterns, the illuminated cover books
are later publications.
