These titles/series were all published by Dodd, Mead & Co.
In 1881-1882 the ten titles noted below made up two series. The "Boy
Blue Series" volumes had numerous pictures whereas the 1881 "Tiny Folks
Series" did not have as many illustrations. The "Boy Blue" books boxed
set of 20 volumes cost $3.00 (15 cents each) whereas the "Tiny Folks"
books boxed set of 10 volumes (and its successors) cost $2.00. In 1883
the "Boy Blue Series" was published but the "Tiny Folks Series" was
renamed the "Pictures Everywhere Series". In 1884 the "Boy Blue Series"
was no longer published and the "Pictures Everywhere Series" was now
called the "Nelly Bly Series". In 1887 the "Bluebell Series" contained
all ten titles. Later these volumes were part of the Economical Primary
Library, No. 2
All of the books were anonymously authored. Each was copyrighted in
1881.

There is nothing in the books themselves which indicate which series
a particular volume belongs to. Originally these books were sold as
boxed sets and the boxes had labels which identified the series.
Unfortunately the boxes are incredibly rare and have not been seen.
Below are pictures of covers that certainly belonged to one of the
series noted above.
Other covers will be pictured as they are identified.
