Introduced as a series in 1884. Previously some of these titles had
been parts of various Dodd, Mead series as well as the Economical
Primary Series, No. 1
Numerous black and white illustrations.
There is nothing in the books that identifies which series they are
part of. I have seen two different covers which have not been noted on
any other Dodd, Mead & Co. titles. It is uncertain whether either
of the covers belong to this series. They are shown below for
completeness.
Cloth. Various colors. LIne dawn illustration with non book specific
appliqué on the front cover. 6" x 4".
