This series was originally published by Wm. Wood & Co. in about
1864.
The combined books from the "Sylvan Stories" and the "Golden Stories"
make up this series which was sold as a boxed set.
It is unclear since the box has not been seen and the books make no mention what series they are part of, what the format of the volumes of set is. It is possible it is any of the formats shown in the "Golden Stories" and/or "Sylvan Stories" that are shown on this site.
