Cassell Publishing Company published this series beginning in 1890 with six volumes. Previously this set (Volumes #1-5) had been published by Cassell and Company in 1885 as the "Doll's Club Series". By 1888 it was called the "Fairies and Fancies Library"

Cloth. Cover with an illustration of birds, flowers, and sailboat. Cover in vivid colors as well as others in red and black. (No priority). Gilt spine lettering. 6.5” x 4.25”. Came as boxed set.
