Birdseye Blakeman was with Smith Sheldon in the Sheldon, Blakeman
& Co. firm between 1856 and 1859. This latter firm published a six
book Indestructible Pleasure Book Series beginning in 1857. See: 19th

Sheldon, Blakeman & Co.'s successor published the expanded series
beginning in 1860.
When Blakeman & Mason was established in 1859 it also published
this series but the exact format and number of titles are unknown.
