C. S. Francis began publishing these titles in the early 1840's. Previously it had co-published these titles with Munroe and Francis being the primary publisher. J. H. Francis also co-published these titles with Munroe and Francis. Munroe & Francis published these titles at least into the late 1840's and perhaps later.

All four titles were also published within the "Little Child's Book" which had been published previously by Munroe & Francis, copyright 1830. Munroe & Francis also published the four separate titles.

Published later by Blakeman & Mason and Oakley & Mason.
