Introduced as a series by Henry A. Young & Co. in 1872. The twelve titles in this series are a combination of the six books in each of "Clarence's Library" and "Marion's Library".
In 1873-1875 this series was called "Favorite's Library"
Illustrated
Cloth. Blindstamped with embossed cover pattern. Various colors. Spine notes the title of the book in gilt. 4.5" x 3". Sold as a boxed set.
(It is likely that there is a later format with an applique picture on the cover - post-1873 but it has not been seen at this time.)
