This series was introduced by A. L. Burt in 1897. Books published between 1897 and early 1900 note the 97 Reade Street address in the back ads. In 1900 and later the ads note the 52-58 Duane Street address. The imprint on the title page was A. L. Burt until 1902. In 1902 and later the imprint was A. L. Burt Company.
This series was published until 1909.
