A. L. Burt first published this series beginning in 1898. Books
published between 1898 and early 1900 note the 97 Reade Street address
in any back ads. In 1900 to 1912 the ads note the 52-58 Duane Street
address. Beginning in 1912 Burt was at 114-120 East 23rd Street. The
imprint on the title page was A. L. Burt until 1902. In 1902 and later
the imprint was A. L. Burt Company.
This series was published into the late teens without any changes
after 1907.
