John R. Anderson published this series in two different formats. The title pages are not dated. The 1882 book (First Anderson format) has the same format as the last of the Sheldon & Co. versions. The blue and green covers (Second Anderson format) below were probably published in 1883. Both of the Anderson formats were subsequently published by D. Lothrop & Co. The Lothrop books have Anderson ads in the back of the volumes.
