A book with a title page of 1896 (Children of Sherburne) but with a
format 2 cover has been seen. This volume is an anomaly and most
likely an old title page was used when binding the book with the
Format 2 cover

on the title page. Most likely all the first editions have the
copyright date at the base of the title page.
