John R. Anderson published this series in the early 1880's until 1884. These books sold for $1.00 each.
Two formats have been seen. The earlier one has similar gilt lettering as the last Sheldon & Company edition. The later edition has the same format as the subsequent DeWolfe, Fiske & Co. books.
