This series was published by Henry A. Young & Co. in 1869. In 1866 Wm. H. Hill, Jr. & Co. advertised this series and published the first book. The book noted “True Blue Stories" on the spine. In 1869 Henry A. Young & Co. advertised this series as a three volume set. There is no mention however about books #2/#3. It is unclear whether these latter books were ever published.
